Are you getting chills? Do you smell a rotten stench in the air? Can you feel the fear building inside of you? These are all feelings many patrons had when visiting the Cox's Point Haunted Mansion this past October. The 2004 season was the first time I've ever worked a haunted house, and I had a blast. I was invited by Timewarp Films Director Joe Ripple, and employed by Steve Myers. I played "Benjamin".. a dirty homeless psychopath who loved rats, and even did a great "Pinky and the Brain" impersonation. Using all that I had, I reached back to my roots of performing live and really scared alot of people. From puking, spitting, drooling, and taunting the crowd with a dirty 2X4 and live rats, to dropping hundreds of voracious mice on them.. I made for a quite scary character. The mice were actually rabbits feet, but the hapless victims certainly couldn't tell as they would run out of the room shrieking in terror. I would occasionally go out and taunt the crowd with more staring and drooling, along with digging through the trash. All in all, this was a fantastic great time for me up in Essex, MD, and hopefully some of you will come up next year where I'm sure I'll be making a return. Please visit www.CoxsPoint.com for more details. Enjoy!

- "The Homeless guy was very cool, but a little too scary..I didn't expect he'd throw rats on us...we'll be back next year!"
- "The old guy digging in the trash can was great! I didn't know who it was until we saw the last scene, then we made the connection.....that was frightning!"
- "Homeless people are usually not in their right mind. I don't know how you could let someone like that help you in your Haunted House. He was very scary, and I'm sure that added to the excitement, but for next year, I think you ought to reconsider getting him."
- "I told my daughter that he wasn't a real homeless person, but my Wife said that he was. I guess it was just another thing in the detail dept, that you guys do so well. We drove two hours and stood in line for 80 minutes, and it was well worth it. See you next year!"
